Introducing the BRABUS 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition "1 OF 25" - Mercedes-AMG SL 63.

Posted on 11.07.2023 - Let’s go back to the future! In 1996, the iconic BRABUS 7.3S, based on the Mercedes-Benz 600 SL, hit the German Autobahn for its first official road test. With BRABUS founder Bodo Buschmann behind the wheel and the car's hood safely back at BRABUS HQ, a legendary shot was captured - symbolizing everything we stand for in a single picture.

Now, the legend lives on with the one-of-a-kind BRABUS 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition. Based on the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 platform, the BRABUS 750 is not just an homage, but a modern retelling of a story that defines BRABUS at its roots. Limited to only 25 units worldwide.

At the front, BRABUS-typical carbon elements characterize the roadster's unmistakable face, including the front fascia inserts, radiator grill, and front spoiler. These elements not only add to its distinctive look but also significantly reduce lift at high speeds. The side features carbon fiber front fender attachments with integrated BRABUS logos, while the rear boasts a subtle carbon fiber rear spoiler attachment and tailor-made rear diffuser - beautifully highlighting the quad tailpipes of the BRABUS high-performance exhaust system and impressing with its bold look.

The BRABUS 750 features a 4.0-liter V8 engine equipped with two high-performance turbochargers, allowing it to sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited at 315 km/h to protect the Continental SportContact 7 performance tires. The nine-speed automatic transmission, controlled via paddle shifters at the steering wheel, delivers 900 Nm of torque for an exhilarating driving experience.

In the interior, black on black dominates the BRABUS 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition, paying homage to Bodo Buschmann's personal taste. Black stitching and piping tastefully underscore the BRABUS “R-Sport” quilting pattern, while embossed “77” signets on various sections of the cockpit commemorate the year BRABUS was founded, 1977.
