Grande Turismo Is Now Petrolbase: Same Platform, New Name
Grande Turismo is now Petrolbase. If you were looking for Grande Turismo, you are in the right place. It is the same platform and the same curated automotive experiences, with a new name built for what comes next. Here is the full story, and what it means for you.
Why Grande Turismo is now Petrolbase
A name should help a brand grow. As we grew, we found that our old name was limiting how far we could take it. We have a big vision for this platform, and we decided this was the right moment to give it a name that can carry it.
Changing a name is never a small decision, and we did not make it lightly. We made the move now, at this stage of our journey, so everything we build next is built under the right name. Our focus has not changed: connecting car enthusiasts with great automotive experiences, and with the people who create them.
Our ambition is simple to say and big to build: to be the first place a petrolhead looks when they want to experience cars, not just see them.
The base for petrolheads
Petrolbase combines two words: petrolheads and base. Petrolheads are a community, and every community needs a base. Petrolbase is that base.
It is a curated marketplace for automotive events and experiences: circuit days, driving tours, car shows, museums, collections and more, all in one place.
For drivers and enthusiasts, it is where you find your next experience, whether that is a day on track, a road trip or a museum you have always wanted to visit. For organisers and venues, it is where you meet drivers who are looking for exactly what you offer.
What changes, and what doesn't
What's new
Our website, our social media usernames and every place you find us now carry the Petrolbase name. Our podcast changes too: The Drivers Circle is now the Petrolbase Podcast. If you follow us or listen to us, look for the new name.
What stays the same
The platform. The curated automotive experiences. The way you book, and the way you work with us. None of that changes.
Our registered company name is still Grande Turismo GmbH. The formal change to Petrolbase GmbH is in progress and will be completed in the coming weeks. It is a formal step, and it does not change how we work with you.
The old address, grandeturismo.com, keeps working, and so do all existing email addresses, for the next two years. You can reach us the same way you always have.
What you need to do
Nothing. Everything you have already booked or set up stays as it is. For organisers and venues, your listings and the way we work together continue as before.
What comes next
This is the first step, not the destination. In 2027, we are bringing new experiences, new clients and new features, along with an expanded website and platform. It all points in one direction: a better base for petrolheads and the experiences they love. We will share more as 2027 gets closer.
To everyone who has booked, listed, shared or listened along the way: thank you. Petrolbase is built on your trust, and the best part is still ahead.
